marine conservation in africa
a continent of riotous colour & cultural depth
Our marine conservation expeditions are the real thing. They take in some of the world’s best dive sites located on some of the rarest and most important coral reefs and marine creatures. Conserving the marine wealth of the world has been a key objective of our operations and scientific research programs for over 20 years. On one of our marine conservation projects in Africa, you can earn your PADI Advanced Open Water scuba diving certification free of charge, whilst getting involved with coral reef conservation or swimming with whale sharks as you volunteer in Africa; assisting in the preservation of these critically endangered tropical ocean habitats.
Volunteers are vital to the ongoing success of our marine conservation and diving work. Whether on a gap year, taking a career break from the rat race back home or volunteering abroad, you can play a vital role on one of our marine conservation and diving projects and its success and get free dive training. Try an adventure with a difference-help to save the ocean and its inhabitants, and come away with lifelong friends and a wealth of amazing photos and memories when you travel in Africa.
Find the perfect gap year in Africa, and take a look at our marine conservation programs:
